It is snowing AGAIN and I am sitting here dreaming of summer lol.

We are going to South Dakota for a few days, then Minnesota for a wedding, then to the east coast to see my FIL. We are pretty much going to hit up every tourist trap between here and NJ. We have been referring to it as the great 2010 road trip!

I will be studying abroad in spain this spring and I am planning where to spend the 4 day Easter vacation. I want to visit some of the following places while there and need to decide which I should spend over Easter: Rome, Venice, London, Greece, Portugal Beaches, Prague, Barcelona, Minorca. I realize that probably Rome and Prague will be very crowded and many of the attractions will be closed during Holy Week.

Question by washington_maverick: What’s a good family vacation with lots of kids with out doing something like disneyland?
My sisters and their families have been a life line for me to stay in school following my divorce! They’ve gone above and beyond to help me! Because of my schooling I haven’t gotten to spend many holidays or vacations with the family and I’d like to take everyone on a vacation. What are some ideas? Adults and Kids ranging from 2 to 13! Disneyland isn’t an option!

There are many Caribbean suggestions I could make because you just described the whole Caribbean. But one island stands out.

St Maarten/St Martin is the gourmet food capital of the Caribbean, it has beautiful beaches, it’s relaxing and you are just ferry boat rides away from Anguilla and St Barth’s.
I think St Maarten has the best duty free shopping in the Caribbean next to St ThomasUSVI. This island has casinos and plenty nightlife.

The island is half french and half dutch. I prefer the Dutch side of the island but many visitors like the French side due to the clothing optional beaches on that side of the island.
The French do not frown over topless sun bathers. You will find some topless on the Dutch side but not as many

As far as where to stay, you don’t say what your budget is.
My suggestion for you would be, Hotel L’Esplanade on the French side or Oyster Bay Beach Resort on the Dutch side.

The best way to start off a narrative poem is with something to grasp your reader’s attention. I would start a narrative poem on disney with something interesting like what sparked your interest most about disney or, your favorite attraction.

Assuming you arrive in Honolulu you have a great base for your stay.

Stay as many days as your budget will allow.

The big island is worth a visit for a day or two but personally I would stay in Honolulu.
